We urgently need people who can help shape the PSFA and organise it to be a thriving group for the school. We are actively seeking committee members. If you have admin skills, perhaps are good with finances or would like to organise events we’d love you to put yourself forward.
Our goal is to support our school, encourage parent involvement, support teachers, and organise family events. We are continuously actively seeking to advance our children’s education by developing strong links and encouraging the fullest co-operation between home and school.
This is an excellent way to bring together parents, staff and others to raise money and to support the school. We therefore have an opportunity for everyone to work together towards a common goal. All parents and staff can get involved even if they only have a small amount of time available. The school will benefit from the additional funds it will raise and the increased opportunity for parents to be more involved in school life.
Our PSFA aims to:
- Raise funds to help the school provide extra resources for the pupils
- Run social events for parents, staff and children and therefore provide an opportunity for people to meet and get to know each other and have fun
- Organise meetings and Workshops to inform parents about education issues and other topics parent’s would like to discuss
Please express your interest in being a committee member of Drumbeat PSFA by filling in the slip on the pdf documents following and returning it to the school office, FAO: Janet Atukunda (Chair Person of Drumbeat PSFA) at your earliest convenience.
Thank You and I look forward to meeting you soon.
