Welcome to Zebra class! We hope you had a lovely summer break.
The Zebra class team is Claire, Saira, Roger, Sue and also Angela.
The children have settled very well.
Our project this term is:
Our topic for the first 2 weeks has been Getting to know you and the ‘Zebras’ have been very busy learning the name of their new class, building friendships, welcoming our new students, making zebra masks, making birthday balloons and decorating zebras to go on the display board outside.
For the rest of term, our topic is My Amazing world. Alongside working on their targets, Zebra class will be learning about nature, the seasons and space.
On September 29th we will be visiting Mudchute farm where we can visit the farm animals and play in the nearby adventure playground.
Zebra class will be going to the Ecology Park on the Greenwich Peninsula this term on October 6th to hunt for minibeasts, pond dip and look at the birds from the bird hide. Later in the term Zebras will be going to the Greenwich Planetarium to learn more about space through some hands on activities and workshops.
We have lots of other interesting activities planned for this term such as visiting Crystal Palace farm; there will be more information to follow. We will also be regularly visiting local parks and the shops.
