During a period whilst students may be off of school it is important to engage in physical activity regularly to maintain fitness levels and support wellbeing. Exercise is also an important way to help students self-regulate (especially if they are having to self-isolate at home). In this section are some ideas for activities that can be completed with little/no equipment and without needing a large amount of space. Government guidelines are still recommending outdoor exercise at this time, therefore if you have access to a garden or large outside space where students can maintain at least a 2m distance from others this is greatly encouraged.
