Introduction

We are currently involved in a research project with 2 Lewisham Primary Schools. The project is facilitated by the Institute of Education, London with the focus being on effective pupil feedback. This is taking an in-depth analysis of how theory informs policy and the impact on everyday practice in schools.

We have also been involved in research projects with Kings College London in which parents have been invited to take part in new treatment project ‘Autism Spectrum Treatment and Resilience (ASTAR)’.

We were involved with a study at the University of Greenwich looking at the potential impact of Developmental Dance Movement and Autism Movement Therapy for Primary School children.

We have also published research papers on the benefits of having a school dog and of young people talking about their experiences of having autism first hand.
